If you wanna see how it's going, visit www.tcgnordica.com To view the chinese version you need Chinese language support installed on PC's. On a Mac, it just works.

28th-Sep-2005 08:58 pm - Chinenglish names.. | Update
Now, I just have to write down some of the names that my chinese friends have. I will not write down there chinese names but their English version that they often found in movies or dictionaries.

These names are used as "main" names, first names. They never have a last name so think of this name as what I should call them when i speak to them and refer to them. Just some of the little more funny ones:

Andersson
River
Waterfall
Arnold (this guy is not very big)
Secretary
Sunny
Cloudy
Summer
Winter
Spring
Apple
April
Orange
Green
Black
Coco
T
Polly

List #2(From a photographer friend named Chunsum) | Update!
Rain
Happy
Marboro
Bentley
Juicey
Baby
Dreamy
Cookie
Rock
Stone
Tiger

The list is just what me and Linn can think of right now, when we know more the list will get longer. :)

We're now on vacation in the beautiful county of Dali. A small county with approximately 3.5 million people. The capital City is named Dali too and is a smaller town with about 500 000 inhabitants. (as big as the second biggest city in sweden.. haha) Linn is born here so we visit her family and friends.

Dali is famous for it's many spiders (especially jumping ones), pagodas, tea flowers, waterfalls, snow mountains, earthquakes and strong wind. They also have a Ancient City which have roots before Tang dynasty.
21st-Sep-2005 07:34 pm - Going away for a week or so..
I'll be back. :) I'm going to Dali to celebrate my Linn's grandmother 80th birthday and to visit her family. Important bussiness.

With me: Linn, 70-200, 12-24, 24-60 and my SD10 just in case. :)

Big show

A couple of days after coming back from my trip I had a photo session with a piano player. Some of the resulting photos are now available as a slideshow and as full sized downloadable pictures from Flickr. Please use with care. They're copyrighted. Click the image below to jump directly to the slideshow, from there you can also see them as you like.

Enjoy - and I will upload images from my trip soon. :) They're sooo many. Takes time and energy to find the best ones..

15th-Sep-2005 01:39 pm - I'm back!
And fixing my photos as I write. It's been a hectic week to say at least, and about 4000 images to go throu. It was way more than I thought I would take, but also a lot of "safety shots".

Will give you something to look at later today or tomorrow.

Gone for a week

Photo trip with a group of advertising film makers to south of China. Will be very interesting indeed.. I'll be back!

The photo that has nothing to do with anything else than just being a photo, is taken in my daylight studio with my Sigma SD10 and my 105mm lens. I think. If not I'll update this info a bit later. Until then, check out the exif info. :D And, this photo is uploaded from the studios' PC, without any modifications of any sort. A clean dump from SPP. (Sigmas RAW image converter)

Good night. PS. There is some new photos on my flickr account in "full" quality. Well, as full as it gets with JPEG 10 quality.
4th-Sep-2005 11:51 am - Mamiya RB67 pro SD shot..

IMG18802 copy, originally uploaded by rytterfalk.

New toy..

Well, a shot of anyway.. :) It's a true beauty, here represented with blue channel in black and white. It somehow added the heavy feeling that this beast possesses. I love it! I'd like a future camera, maybe a bit smaller, with a Foveon sensor (three layer sensor) and with 35mm lenses but with the same type of viewfinder (very big, with magnifier). :) AND with capability to take HD video directly to 2.5" exchangeable HD. jaij! If it was a Sigma, it would make me even more happier!

Camera: SD10, lens: Sigma 50mm EX. | Two soft boxed flashes from each side, magenta background.

2nd-Sep-2005 03:38 am - My new friend..

IMG18464 copy, originally uploaded by rytterfalk.

This guy is one of the owners of the studio that I talked about before. Funny guy. He has a half year old Mamiya RB67proSD that he love to show, and I can lend whenever.. It's a true beauty! I'm going to shoot it side by side with my Sigma in the studio and when ready I'll give you some images..

He thinks that my images looks very much like what his Mamiya gives. I have no doubt. :)

30th-Aug-2005 10:57 pm - Designed by Carl..
Here is a new flickr folder with things I design. Will update as often as possible. Remember that I can be used! China is a great place to print, especially if you have a person here who knows how and can make everything possible. ;) Jaij.

Some late..

30th-Aug-2005 09:02 pm - NEW STUDIO!

Oh happy day!

Something very interesting happened today. Linn and me where going to a near by photo studio to take passport photos. (Too much work to do that myself.. .. Yes..) So we went in, and I saw that they had a really nice studio with two soft boxes and one backlight, many different backgrounds, adjustable flashes with a wireless flash shoe that worked directly with my SD10.

There where three photographers owning the store and they all had been to my exhibition and they where all very happy to show me everything they had, and I was welcome to use it as much as I wanted. This is like a little dream still. Really nice guys! About three hour later (today) I went there again with my model (Linn of course) and I tried all kind of light setups and I also gave them my new poster and they put it up in the store directly. They didn't show a second thought about me being a competitor. Strange but very nice!

Here are some of the pictures I took. All in full-size, so enjoy!

28th-Aug-2005 11:03 am - Sigma SD detail.
EYEdetaljbrak-copy
IMG18149 copySheep picture #1

I'm not sure how to describe the extreme detail-richness that the foveon sensor gives, but here are two day to day examples. The eye picture is not only very detailed but also exposure compensated in the RAW converted + 2 step. Thanks to wide dynamic range the photograph is still use full and everything is there!

Camera: Sigma SD10, Lens: 24-60EX | Observe! The cropped version is NOT 100% in this web view. There is more!

Camera: Sigma SD10, Lens: 24-60EX | Handheld | Yes, there is overexposure in two of them, but I just couldn't resist posting. Remember it's a one shot.
